There's always people that say, "Evolution is just random — we're putting a pattern onto what's really just a bunch of chaos."
And if that is true if we're just imposing those patterns, then anything that science developed shouldn't work.
For life to evolve there has to be a huge amount of order. And if you look at the universe, the universe is filled with order from top to bottom.
So to say evolution is just chance misses, I think, the most beautiful, most important, aspects of how evolution works.
